Smita was very attentive and caring throughout my mother's stay in the ICU. Even when she was not her assigned patient, Smita was coming in regularly to check on her. When Smita would see me in the halls, she was always asking if I had eaten and slept and to make sure I was taking care of myself. Smita was positive and reassuring and always willing to answer any and all questions. If she didn't know an answer, she would promptly find out for us. Smita was an angel and ray of light in a very scary and unsure situation. I can't thank her enough for her care, compassion and commitment to her patients and their families.

Smita is an outstanding nurse and goes above and beyond for her patients. What she did for my ex-husband and explaining to our children, I will never forget. She explains everything in detail so anyone can understand. She made sure my ex-husband had everything he needed. There should be more nurses like Smita.
