December 2022 Honoree
Sneya Johny, RN
Sneya Johny, a Registered Nurse in Whitbread Ward, was nominated by a patient for her positive attitude and sense of humour.
The patient wrote: “Sneya looked after me when I did not feel good and made me laugh.”
The patient’s mum added: “Sneya is an especially compassionate nurse. Whilst in hospital due to seizures, my son needed the care of the ICU team. Sneya was the nurse on duty who was able to assess the need and urgency of the situation.
Despite watching something so traumatic, she put her feelings aside to reassure me. In that moment that was what I needed. I am very thankful to her.”
