Socorro (Coco) Loberano, LVN

Coco came in on her day off to care for a patient with a 22-week fetal demise. This patient only spoke Spanish and had already previously suffered a newborn death at 2 days of age. Coco was here to provide compassionate care for this patient and her family. The patient left this note for Coco, "Thank God for Coco. I want to thank you very much for being so patient with me and for all your care, and above all, for being so attentive. THANK YOU SO MUCH, and God bless you always."

When a family experiencing this type of loss and grief thanks you for your care, that's when you have truly made a difference in someone's life. That is nursing from your heart.
