I came into the ER with really bad body pain and a high fever. My nurse Socorro has been one of the best nurses I have ever had in the ER. From the moment she walked into my room she knew I was in a lot of pain and was not feeling well at all. You might ask what makes this nurse different from others. It was the way she cared for me as if I was a family member and she wanted to do everything and anything to help me get better. Now the ER is always busy and this night was no different but the way I heard her give care to other patients and myself is something I cannot explain because this is something you needed to hear and see for yourself. A nurse to me is someone who is will go the extra mile to ensure my health comes first, even if that means taking my blanket away to help me get my fever under control but being sweet about it.
