I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, for the attention and care I have received for over 10 months at the Achs Center in Viña del Mar from my dear Nurse Sofía Araya. I am grateful for her perfect and almost artistic dressings, as evidenced by the fact that I never experienced any infections. Watching her work, with the delicacy of her hands, the methodical approach, the order, and efficiency transformed a moment of anguish and tension into one of rest and relaxation. Her dedication, professionalism, and kindness were, are, and will always be fundamental to my full recovery.

Her support and understanding during many difficult moments were a great comfort to me and my family. Her work focused not only on my physical health but also on my emotional well-being. I can see her, hands on her hips, telling me, 'You should have called,' 'You should have come,' 'We are here to attend to and help you,' all this in response to some of my clumsiness, like a fall or a bump, as an example. I feel fortunate to have had a nurse like Sofía who cared and made me feel very special. I was not the exception; her professional and humane approach is the same with every patient she receives. There are thousands of details that made me feel special, and it is these people who make an institution great. Thank you so much for everything you did for me.
