My six-year-old daughter was in the ER after 3.5 days of vomiting and was extremely dehydrated. Sofia showed extreme patience and kindness with her while needing to place an IV and do swabs. Our daughter was scared and crying, and Sofia went above and beyond with her kindness. She carefully showed and explained each step to our daughter and treated her with what I’m sure would be the same kindness she shows her own children. She went out of her way to bring our daughter her favorite flavor of popsicle and found her a toy and candy bar for when she feels better. She even took note of our daughter’s Frozen blanket and tracked down some Frozen stickers. When she could have forced our daughter to undergo swabs and the IV, she stayed patient and talked her through the procedure, making sure she wouldn’t be traumatized. I’ll forever be grateful for her cheerfulness, kindness, and patience during a very difficult day.
