Sona went above and beyond to ensure I felt safe and cared for during the delivery of my second son. My first was premature at 31 weeks and my second came at 35. She was my advocate to ensure all my needs and wants during labor were able to happen. She was an angel in disguise supporting me and my son as we labored for 2 days. Each day she made sure to hold the other staff around her to the standard she set for me and her to make my birth goals met. She was compassionate, caring, and made me feel so safe in the midst of being worried about my son's health and the possibility to go into the NICU, as well as my own health. Sona was yet again, an angel in disguise and I want to shout from the rooftops how valuable she is as a nurse and healthcare hero. I have never felt so heard and acknowledged before, I was over the moon blessed to have her on my birthing team. Any other mom who would be lucky to have Sona as their nurse and her divine light looking over them. I can’t stress enough how safe and blessed she made my labor, delivery, and postpartum.
