Sonaya Hosni, Registered Nurse
Nurse Sonaya has been nothing short of a blessing since she joined our family medicine team. From the moment she stepped in, her dedication, warmth, and genuine kindness have set her apart. Not just as an outstanding nurse but as someone, I’m honoured to call a friend.
Over the past months, we’ve faced an incredible challenge with staffing, and for a long stretch, she was the only primary nurse we had. She carried that responsibility with a quiet strength, shouldering each ‘not preferred shift’ without a single word of complaint or hint of frustration.
It’s hard to put into words how much effort it means to all of us; even when things are their toughest, she showed up for a patient every single day, brightening the clinic with her positivity. She makes every person, whether patient or colleague, feel heard, helped, and cared for.
The atmosphere here is lighter because of her spirit. Doctors and staff alike look to her not just for her skill and reliability but for the good energy she brings into every room.
