Sonia always has a love of her work. For example, many times I see her in patient's rooms giving heel rubs, covering the patients, giving water, answering lights, helping the CNAs, changing patients, and pulling up patients even though they are not assigned to her. She always gives medications on time.
Sonia embodies everything a nurse should be. She is not only a very strong clinical nurse but understands the way she makes people feel with the personal touch. This is what truly makes the difference in our patients' lives. She has been singled out many times in comment cards, leader rounds, and even on social media for going above and beyond for patients. When watching her interact with patients it is very easy to see how much she loves being a nurse.
