I would like to nominate a special multitasking nurse, a passionate and kind-hearted humble person who I look up to every day when we work together. Sonia makes a big difference in the patients' lives she treats during her shifts. I hear compassion and empathy in her voice each time she talks to a patient. It takes a lot sometimes to deal with terminally ill patients, not everyone can do this job. That is why I feel I should share my story about a colleague at my work, who makes a huge difference in her patients’ lives. Sonia leaves a piece of her heart at work each day, sometimes I see her eyes smiling when she shares good news with the patients about good test results. On other days, I see her eyes crying as she hears one of the patients has passed away. Difficult work handled with such care that anyone wished they had a nurse like Sonia.
