Today was a very hard day for me. Having Sonia as my nurse made a big difference. I wanted to check myself out of the hospital AMA because of personal business I needed to take care of at home. She begged me to stay and think about the consequences. I have an infection where the pacemaker was put in, which is serious. Sonia then went to get the hospitalist to convince me to stay. The doctor came and told me how serious my condition was and convinced me to stay.
Sonia was an awesome nurse helping me; so professional, caring and quick to respond, so respectful. Without her encouragement I would have checked out AMA. I appreciate her talking to me and all of the care she provided. Sonia also was instrumental and successful in getting my diabetic supplement restarted. She went beyond what is expected from a nurse. Sonia's caring attitude shows she loves her job and is sincere in caring for her patients.
