Sonia Savdie, BSN, RN

I would like to recognize an outstanding nurse who cared for my mother following her rectal cancer surgery; her name is Sonia Savdie. During a very difficult time for our family, Sonia went far beyond routine care. She was consistently attentive, compassionate, and proactive in meeting my mother’s needs. She frequently checked in without being asked, helped change the bed sheets promptly whenever needed, assisted with changing her gown, and carefully managed her catheter with great professionalism and dignity.

What stood out most was how Sonia took the time to explain concerns, answer questions patiently, and make sure my mother felt comfortable and reassured. Her kindness, attentiveness, and respect made a significant difference in my mother’s recovery and in our peace of mind as a family. This nurse truly embodies what excellent nursing care should be, and we are deeply grateful for her dedication.
