Sonia Shepherd, RN

There are several reasons we nominate Sonia today. First and foremost she has literally put her blood, sweat, tears, heart, and soul into her role as a GFA and nurse. During an unprecedented staffing shortage, she has been the first person in and the last person out every day - wearing the hat of FA, Clinical Coordinator, Charge Nurse, PCT, and preceptor. Above all, she is an advocate for nurses and is looked upon as a mentor for new and long-standing nurses alike.
