Time and time again she goes out of her way to make patients and families feel at home. In the past, she has gone to the store to get her patients supplies and food items. Recently, a mother was admitted with as a COVID rule out and had a 14-year-old son. Sonya checked on him several times until they knew that his test was negative as well. She even visited the house and took food. She goes above and beyond all the time. She has a servant's heart. She is a very compassionate nurse.
