Sonya Kimbrough, RN

I have worked with charge nurse, Sonya Kimbrough for seven years on the night shift position, and I have seen her give excellent and essential care to all her patients. Sonya has a compassionate and sympathetic heart that puts patients at complete ease when around her. Sonya and I work on the High-Risk OB/GYN unit and have witnessed a lot of situations that could have ended up in tragedy had not Sonya stepped in and figuratively fight for patients' lives. She embodies the definition of a patient advocate. Because of her remarkable character and powerful knowledge, Sonya has inspired many nurses to go above and beyond for their patients. I am one of those many nurses that Sonya has made a positive impact on. She is truly a priceless jewel that is a rare find in this world.
