I have already had an ablation, so I kind of knew what to expect. When I was introduced in Feb. 2019 to Rex Healthcare, I was amazed at the atmosphere of the workers, nurses, doctors that worked there. They were there to help in any way they could. They went over and beyond their duties and when I went in recently for another ablation, the surgery was entirely different, but the doctor found my problem and hopefully fixed it. He is a caring great doctor. The staff made me at ease and make my family and I at ease treated us with respect and caring.
This ablation was a little different. You see I also have Parkinson's Disease. The staff did everything they could to help. Parkinson's is not an easy disease, but they were with me all the way.
When I came back from surgery, I was in a lot of pain. They stopped the bleeding I had in left groin, but I felt like I had been hit by a truck. Shoulder, back all over.
My RN, Sonyal, was caring and special. She went well and beyond meeting needs to ease my pain. She was such a caring sweet nurse. She was very professional, but she cared about me as an individual.
She is a special individual to Rex. Her biggest concern was her patient and making their stay at Rex a pleasant one. She really needs to be recognized. Rex Hospital is a better place with people like Sonyal working there. Thank you for all you did for me.
