L and Sophia quickly identified a child with respiratory distress in the office. They escalated to any available provider, ensuring the child got the appropriate care immediately. They were calm and kept the parents calm, which allowed the child to be calm, improving his breathing and preventing further worsening of his condition. Their teamwork and communication were flawless while they stabilized the child until EMS could arrive. Their critical thinking, composure, and compassion were shown through the entire office and the entire event.
