Sophia was a breath of fresh air during a very uneasy time. She was resourceful, professional, fun, and kind, and she made me feel at ease as I anxiously accompanied my mother, who was dealing with concerning test results. When administering her medicine and checking in on her, she made sure to listen compassionately to my mom and to me, even as her daughter, and to put us both at ease and make light conversation during the time passing.

If I needed something, she came and checked on my mom right away, then worked collaboratively with her team in the meantime, multitasking and still being attentive to my mom! She made us feel so welcome and safe. She truly embodies a wonderful nurse and person, and is a wonderful addition to this team! She made sure to stay on top of my mom’s results, explained the next steps to us, and even walked us out to the door. I felt safe knowing my mom was there with her if I needed to leave at all, which was a relief.
