My father-in-law was sent by ambulance from a clinic to the ER for elevated BMP values. Sophia was the main nurse assigned to him. My wife (his daughter) and I were very impressed with the level of care and communication with the family about Dad. I could tell that Sophia is genuinely concerned for her patients and the best possible outcome. Before leaving the room during one of her stops, she gently touched my father-in-law's arm and said she would return in a bit. It was that simple gesture that proved her human heart was more than just a muscle.
