Sophie Curtis always enters and leaves the room with a smile. When her shift ends, she never fails to stop in, introduce the shift nurse and say good-bye. When she was off for a few days and assigned other patients, she made it a point to stop in and say hello. Her optimistic and compassionate personality is always uplifting and puts a ready smile on my face. When the IV pump would beep, she gently reminded me to keep my arm straight and never appeared annoyed. In terms of care, she always flushed the toilet after measuring output, straightened the bed sheet and provided plenty of warm blankets as necessary. I could not have been in better hands. Oh, and when I offered to treat her to something from the café downstairs, she graciously refused. She is thoughtful caring and giving.
In addition, Sophie made sure my daughter had all she needed when she slept over, even telling her she could order food over the phone using her charge card.
