The story started a year ago when my mother was diagnosed with leukemia.  This story might be normal for every patient, but for us, who went through the rough roads of treatment, this is something that we truly appreciate.

This nurse made everything easy for us.  She was a nurse, a friend, a family to us.  This is how she made our family feel.  The real exceptional story started when my mother had complications and eventually was admitted to the critical care unit.  This nurse followed up with my mother and showed her compassion and care even if my mother was not admitted to her unit.
