We came in because of extreme edema of my nephrotic son. We had the pleasure of working with Soumya during our time at the hospital. Her calm personality is so perfect for this job and always put us at ease. She always took the time to explain everything to us despite asking 3-4 times, never once did we feel like we couldn't approach her. Always available to help and answer any questions we had. One night our son went down to a low oxygen saturation level. It was one of the scariest things to experience as a mother. Soumya understood how worried we were and stayed next to us helping giving oxygen and nebulization to our son all night. I will never forget that and will be thankful to her forever. My son is extremely hard to deal with also and won't even let them touch him, so I appreciated her efforts to calm him and do things in a way he was least disturbed. And of course for her continued patience towards him.
