Despite our different cultures and backgrounds, Nurse Soyoung has shown her compassion towards my grandfather, our family, and her job. As a family member or a patient you never quite know what to expect during a hospitalization. My grandfather and I have spent a considerable amount of time at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro and recently in the ICU.
Interacting with Soyoung, I witnessed the best and most compassionate nurse who truly loves her job and reflects the meaning of a wonderful nurse. I am truly thankful from the bottom of my heart.
The teamwork I witnessed between Soyoung the other ICU nurses stood out as to why the ICU is a positive place to be and is reflected in why patients improve under their care.
