Spencer was nominated by a grateful dad. When the patient was admitted the first time, he felt like Spencer was very communicative and transparent. The patient was discharged, went home, and came back through the emergency room. Once the patient was readmitted to the same floor, Spencer was the patient's nurse again. The dad hadn't eaten and Spencer put his hand on the dad's shoulder and assured him it was ok to go and eat and that Spencer would not leave the patient's side until he returned. Spencer kept his word and made the parents feel it was ok to breathe.
