Spencer Finney 2, BSN, RN

My best friend was in Wellstar Douglas Hospital for a week and she had quite a few nurses assigned to her during that time. Spencer was THE BEST out of all of them. He’s caring, knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and responsive. I can’t describe the feeling he gives; it’s just pure happiness and peacefulness, and….there are truly no words. Spencer was able to put together a massive “IV tree” for my friend. She had so many IVs going, and Spencer wasn’t deterred from the task. He monitored this IV tree like a hawk. Making sure that the blood thinner was always full and working properly. Spencer has an indescribable God-given gift. We were always excited when he came into the room because we knew it was going to be enjoyable working with and talking to him. He’s so easy to talk to. He doesn’t make you feel like you’re bothering him. You can tell he loves helping people. Wellstar is lucky to have him as an employee.
