This group of professors is truly so special and goes above and beyond to support each and every one of us through our first semester as nursing students. They give such detailed feedback and answer any questions we have with so much care and depth. Each and every one of them is so kind-hearted, and it is clear that they have so much passion for the nursing profession. They make each one of us feel valued and important, and go out of their way to develop individual relationships with every single student. They are refreshingly open to feedback and so understanding of any confusion we experience. I have countless examples of their kindness, and would love to share specific examples that exemplify their love for us. One of my classmates deals with consistent migraines, and each time she comes down with one during clinical, they offer her so many options to help. One of the professors, Karen Thomas, even reached out to her with a neurologist whom she recommends for the student to book an appointment with. Anytime we have a COC, every single professor provides us with such detailed and carefully curated feedback and does such a thorough job of pointing out what we did well in addition to what we could’ve done better. This group of professors is truly so deserving of this award, and I am confident that every single student who has the pleasure of being educated by them would agree.
