Spyros volunteered to care for our COVID-19 patients in our facility's COVID-19 unit. He not only provided excellent nursing care, but he also attended to the patients' psychosocial and mental needs. He went above and beyond to demonstrate extraordinary care and compassion. He made patients and their families feel at ease during a very difficult time and ensured that families were communicated with on a regular basis. Both staff, patients, and families believe that Spyros is a true DAISY Nurse! He is appreciated and looked up to by many!
