Sreedevi Warrier epitomizes what a true, genuine, and authentic nurse should be. She started as a nursing student. Today, she stands with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. But this is not about her accomplishments. This is about how true and genuine of a nurse she truly is, regardless of the initials after her name.
I have worked with her for at least 12 years and her compassion towards patient care is as strong and very much alive today. She has worked in numerous competencies, provided multiple in-services, taught many nurses, and cared directly and indirectly to hundreds of our patients.
She speaks and acts with care, compassion, and professionalism. I have witnessed her help in so many ways that makes Harbor-UCLA a wonderful place to be. She helped answer tough questions during surveys. She provided her skills and knowledge to DHS competencies and skills workshops. Through her teachings and guidance, our staff is better, competent and knowledgeable nurses.
In short, she truly is exemplary!
