Our Mom hadn't eaten in weeks, if not in months and all of us feared the worse. Nurse Stacey was able to do what all of our efforts worked. She got our mother to eat breakfast and have ice cream! It was a great relief, considering they were thinking about a feeding tube. Stacey then stayed after her shift (On her son's first day of school!) to coax our mom to eat her soup we made at home. Stacey continued to remind our mom that "we Caribbean people fight!"
