I broke my ankle and had surgery. This was a very trying time for me. I would like to nominate Stacey-Ann for a DAISY Award. She was like a ray of sunshine. She was kind, compassionate, and attentive to all my needs. I was in so much pain, and she made sure to try to make me comfortable.

When I was feeling down, she sat with me and talked about various things that eased my mind and helped me forget about the pain. I would like to thank her for taking time out of her busy night. We laughed and shared a special moment. She needs to be recognized for her dedication and passion. You can tell she really enjoys her job. Something as simple as making me hot tea made me comfortable.

One evening, as soon as she came on shift, she came in to see me. I told her how much pain I was in. She did not even get a report yet, and she ran and gave me a pain pill immediately! Her laugh was contagious. She had a positive personality, which made me feel motivated to continue in my recovery. Stacey-Ann was very kind and attentive.
