stacey differding, RN

Stacey is a remarkable person as well as a phenomenal nurse. She exemplifies what an ICU nurse should be - knowledgeable, highly skilled, compassionate, committed and best of all, humorous. She frequently checks in with other staff working near her to see if they need help. As a preceptor, she shares her knowledge and patiently helps the new nurse or student as they grow and developing their role. Due to the excellence of care she provides, Stacey routinely is assigned "complex" or "challenging" patients or families. Despite this, her care does not vary. Difficult families are treated with respect and dignity yet also held accountable for their actions and words. When she has a complex patient she jumps into the work and doesn't stop until she believes she has given it her all. Bottom line: Stacey is wonderful and I feel fortunate to have her as a colleague.
