Stacey is a night shift nurse. During a recent urgent OR Cesarean case, the tech became ill and had to come out of the case. The charge received a call from the OR that the MD needed someone to come scrub in on the case. Once she got to the room, Stacey took the initiative to step up and help the physician. Stacey is a baby nurse who works in Special Care Nursery, and this is something she had never done before, but she knew her help was needed. She did what she felt was needed and scrubbed in to help her team. This is a great example of what makes me proud to be a part of the Atrium team. Teammates are willing to help others in a time of need, despite their designated role.
