Dr. Graves did an outstanding job teaching my recent Evidence-Based Practice class. Virtual classes are tough since there is typically little connection among students and between students and faculty. Dr. Graves was responsive to all of my questions and ensured thoughtful, prompt, one-on-one answers that supported my learning and growth as a nurse. While I have a background in bench research, translating research into application in a clinical setting comes with a heavy weight of responsibility and accountability to our patients. I went into the class somewhat apprehensive and left reassured about my ability to use the available tools to approach this important process. The content of the class is relevant to real-world nursing applications, and Dr. Graves made the information interesting and accessible with her warm, supportive enthusiasm. It was a pleasure to learn from Dr. Graves.
