My husband has been in the 5400 unit for almost four months both on the MAT side and other pulmonary side. Stacey has taken care of him many times always displaying incredible professionalism and knowledge of nursing skills. Recently, in one example, she discovered that an earlier incision on his head had changed appearance and he was able to receive wound care because of her keen observation. She frequently notices problems that need immediate attention in his care. The greatest gift that Stacey gives to my husband is her continual upbeat demeanor to encourage him to health. She keeps him grounded and makes him laugh when he gets down after being in the hospital for so long. He lights up when she comes into the room and she visits him even when she's not assigned to his care that day. Nursing is not just a job for Stacey. She takes her patients and their families to heart always taking time to converse with them and giving them professional care and positive support. Stacey is truly a DAISY Nurse.
