I was recently hospitalized with COVID pneumonia and received phenomenal care from all of my nurses, but one in particular really stood out to me, Stacey Jarrett. She was beyond kind, caring, and had such attention to detail that she knew what I needed before I knew that I needed it! I am a 26-year old who has never been hospitalized and was scared to death to be there alone. Stacey immediately made me feel comfortable and did her best to make sure I had everything that I needed. I can never express how thankful I am for the compassion that was shown. My mind was instantly at ease because of her compassion and kindness. She is an incredible nurse who truly cares about her patients and it shows! Thank you, Stacey, and the rest of the staff in the COVID Unit, for your impeccable care!

I am a nurse. I manage the Care Management Team at QMG. I have very high expectations for the delivery of care for all patients and their families and loved ones. My sweet Dad fell. Dad suffered a fractured right hip from the fall. He was admitted. While all of the staff have been extremely helpful, Stacy went above and beyond to offer her support, nursing expertise, and simply to take time to listen and guide our family through some difficult decisions.
I watched as she educated the nursing student on IV administration. Although she was very busy, she took the time to educate and teach the nurses of the future. Numerous times she asked if any of my family needed anything to help us feel comfortable. In a time when fear is ever so present due to the pandemic in addition to other co-morbidities and diagnoses, having professionals exhibit compassion in combination with quality nursing skills and excellence is admirable and appreciated.
