Ms. Milburn epitomizes the best in home health care and is definitely deserving of this award. Ms. Milburn has been the home health nurse for my mother intermittently over the past three years, each time for wounds incurred from falls. Ms. Milburn demonstrates outstanding professional competencies. She is skilled and knowledgeable, always being able to recognize the appropriate course of treatment for my mother's wound care. I definitely attribute my mother's recovery to the excellent care provided by Ms. Milburn. In addition to her professional competencies, Ms. Milburn demonstrates superb human relations skills. She has become part of our family and is extremely caring and compassionate as she provides her nursing service. She is able to assess my mother's mood/pain management needs and treats her with tender loving care. Ms. Milburn is also dependable and conscientious about scheduling her home visits. In summary, my family feels extremely fortunate to have had Ms. Milburn working with us to help my mother recover.
