Stacey has been recognized by her patients as going above and beyond. She is also recognized by her team and fellow staff for going above and beyond for our patients at Lutheran Hospital. Stacey makes her patients in the Wound Clinic and Burn Unit feel well-cared for by making the patient experience a priority. Everything Stacey does here at Lutheran in her leadership role encompasses the patient experience first. Whether it is rounding in the emergency room or attending to a patient's wound, Stacey always carefully takes each patient's needs to heart. When she rounds, she makes each patient a priority and is excellent at documenting those complaints or needs. Stacey helped a patient who had complaints for months get them resolved. She stuck with it, pursuing all of the avenues needed to promote patient satisfaction. When asked, Stacey is always willing to jump in and help, even if it has nothing to do with her department or patients. Stacey is loyal to her staff and the entire Lutheran Hospital team. She wants only the best experience for her patients and her staff. It shows through her everyday willingness to go above and beyond in every situation. Stacey transitioned the closing of our Burn Unit by focusing on the needs of her patients and staff. This transition was difficult for Stacey as she was devoted to the Burn Unit and the care it provided our community. She never wavered in her loyalty to Lutheran, her staff, and her patients. In true Stacey style, she went above and beyond to make her team and patients feel comfortable with this transition. Stacey is a remarkable leader and teammate. She is an asset to Lutheran Hospital and all of our patients.
