Stacey was a nurse that assisted Dr. M and Dr. S in my cesarean. Before surgery, Stacey was with me all night as she assisted in my scheduled induction. In the OR, I expressed to the Anesthesiologist that I was unable to breathe and needed to come out of that uncomfortable state. As I started to hyperventilate and lose control, Stacey continued to hold my hand and expressed that everything will be ok. Stacey continued at my bedside to assure me that everything would be ok.

My daughter was coming and there was no time to transfer my wife to a delivery room. I and my sister-in-law were the only ones in the room waiting for my wife to continue dilating. My wife then yelled she has to push. Less than what seemed to be a second later my wife yelled: "I'm crowning." She literally shot my daughter out like a cannonball. Stacey made it just in time to literally catch my daughter. Stacey's speed and agility and dinner sacrifice helped to make an amazing birth story to be told for years to come. Stacey said later on that my daughter was her first catch. I look forward to telling my daughter the story of her birth and the super nurse who helped to make it happen. Thank you, Stacey.
