Staci Tosh continues to distinguish herself as a top leader in TLC and throughout the hospital. Staci is our newest educator at Carroll and she has implemented several new and exciting processes within the ED and in The Learning Center, to include the Read & Sign books and the Ask-it Baskets. Ask-it Baskets are now being adopted by the Joint Commission committee to quiz staff within the entire organization on basic questions JC may ask.
When the ED received recognition from the November Stroke Survey team, Staci was individually named by the survey team for her excellence in education. Staci continues to go above and beyond the ensure that not only the ED, but the entire hospital is prepared for the Adult Sepsis initiative, and prepared for recognizing codes. Staci has also developed 15 pictures that address questions on Sepsis knowledge and 11 Code quiz pictures that are used throughout.
Staci exhibits all the SPIRIT values of the organization. Staci consistently strives to find innovative and creative ways to make TLC, the ED and the entire hospital enjoy learning. She consistently helps other educators with inventing new ideas, but always seems to be one step ahead when new initiatives are required. Staci is all about Teamwork and is always smiling and laughing and always looks for the best in all people in all situations. She makes people feel comfortable and she truly wants to see everyone succeed in everything they do, most especially taking care of our patients!
