I spent 6 days during Christmas on the COVID floor of Medina Hospital. Stacie was my nurse for three of those days. Stacie helped to save my life! She heard that not only did I have COVID Pneumonia but could hear my lung lining was filling with fluid. She contacted my Doctor right away to get me on medication to combat it. Her commitment to my health and mental wellness was remarkable! Being in the hospital during Christmas was very difficult, and yet Stacie was beside me encouraging me every step of the way! She worked with my breathing by teaching me how to help myself by doing specific breathing exercises. Stacie would walk in with a smile and give encouraging words, even bringing me magazines to help take my mind off the circumstances. I owe my life to this special Angel! I thank the Lord every day since I’ve been home that I had Stacie and an amazing staff that took me under their wings and brought me through it!!
