Stacie Tanner, RN

My sister had been battling stage 4 metastatic breast cancer for the past six years. She went into the emergency room after the last few months of a cancer reoccurrence and her overall health declining. It happened pretty quickly that day, and it was a really rough time. Stacie wasn't actually assigned to our room, but she came to assist another nurse at one point in time and felt it in her heart to stick with us from that moment on. She created a space for my family to be with my sister and say our goodbyes. She was attentive, kind, and so efficient. I could not be more grateful for Stacie being there and helping my family through the experience of losing our loved one. Some of her advice and words will stay with me forever, and I am thankful for her.
