July 2020 Honoree
stacy bottary, RN, BSN
I came in for a total left knee replacement. The surgery went very well, and I was placed in a room under the care of Nurse Stacy Bottary. The surgery was fairly invasive for me and I had a lot of pain to deal with. Stacy made sure I was comfortable and cared for.
When I arrived in my room I was hungry and thirsty and she made sure I had drinks and crackers until I was satisfied. In addition, there were a number of new medications and other changes and Stacy took the time to clearly explain what the difference was and why Dr. T prescribes Eliquis.
Whether I needed ice, more pillows, meds, someone to talk to about the operation/recovery, food, or anything else, Stacy helped me out and did so willingly and never got frustrated when I clearly wasn't the best patient. I will recommend New England Baptist to everyone who is looking for any orthopedic work. Thanks!

Thank you, Stacy, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
