The impact she left on my life will always be an awesome memory.
It is a pleasure to be able to write about the wonderful experiences my son J and I had with his favorite nurse Stacy. My son has been hospitalized twice since he was born two years ago. Both times it happened to be three long months, and I have never come across a nurse besides Stacy that cared for my son and myself the way Stacy did. I couldn’t thank her enough for doing her job diligently.
The first day we met her she made us feel so comfortable. During this stay, my son came back from having two back-to-back GT operations. J’s wound needed a lot of attention and care. Stacy was very knowledgeable. She took the time to teach me the proper steps to care for my son at home. I felt like I was taking a professional school course. Stacy was extremely patient with me after I asked the same questions a million times she never gave up until I got the task done. After she saw I got the hang of it, she started quizzing and testing me. I studied and went over my notes and I couldn’t wait to show her the hard work she instilled in me. Stacy explained every medication to me that J was taking and the time it needed to be taken in full detail. When it seems like doctors have a full plate, nurses step in to give the patients and parents the information Stacy did. J would get overjoyed when he would see her and that’s what really made my heart smile. My overall experience here was made so much better because I had one of the best nurses. With just Stacy as my nurse, I would recommend services here. There were times I was so drained all day and my son would be up playing. She cared for him brought him to the nurse’s station to play and tire him out and then put him to bed. The impact she left on my life will always be an awesome memory. I appreciate Stacy so much. It is not a lot of nurses we had here that did what Stacy did. Stacy goes above and beyond for all her patients. I wish each and every nurse was as caring as she is. On top of my son being hospitalized, my aunt passed away. The compassion Stacy had for my son and me was truly magnificent. I will never forget how she made my son and me feel. Job Well Done! Thank you!
