To say Stacy is a team player is an understatement. She is not only an amazing nurse, but she also participates in other facets of ambulatory life. She serves on the Shared Governance committee and also took the reins for our snowman project. The main reason I want to recognize her is because of her dedication to the department and the patients we serve. Recently, she delivered the snowman for our winter contest. One of the nurses provided care to a patient who was a particularly difficult IV stick. I asked Stacy if she would mind trying to obtain her IV by ultrasound. Without saying a word, she put on a pair of scrubs and obtained the IV without difficulty. This dedication to patient care when she was not scheduled is a testament to the level of dedication she has for the patients and her co-workers. She is a true asset to Medical Center Jewish South.
