Many nurses deserve the DAISY Award. All too often we forget that they feel very concerned for their patients and get very close to them. They cry, laugh, share family stories and share bonds never to be broken. It is with Stacy that I felt a true bond. She can be a fighter/advocate for you. She can lift your spirits when you are down with her great sense of humor. Her compassion is unparalleled and her professional knowledge is very obvious. You trust her to make the right decisions for your care. She is an asset to Moffitt. We are lucky to have nurses like Stacy; they give us courage and strength to fight and hope for our families that are desperately looking for answers to "why"?
