I was a patient in the ED. I was alone as my husband was home with my children. I was extremely upset and crying when Stacy came in to give me medication. Although she was not my primary nurse, she stayed in the room with me, talked to me, and held my hand while the physician examined me. It meant so much to me and I remember thinking to myself that she is everything a nurse should be. She deserves to be recognized.
