When my nurse Stacy Newman came into my room to introduce herself as my Nurse today, Stacy gave me such a kind smile, introduced herself, and asked me how I was feeling. Stacy was so kind in her replies to my complaints because I was scared, and she came in and checked on me several times and asked me how I was feeling. I don’t know how to describe what a kind, kind woman and nurse Stacy is.

I came into the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack, and then my symptoms changed from that into massive stomach pains. I have no family here, and Stacy made me feel like, in this hospital room with me alone, that she was my family, and that is not something that you can learn. It is something that you have to be, and I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart for being such a wonderful, wonderful, kind, compassionate woman and nurse. Because of Stacy being my nurse if somebody asked me about AdventHealth, I would give the hospital 10 stars only because of the care and compassion I have received today and I may have to stay a few days and that doesn’t scare me because I know that Stacy’s here helping me receive excellent care from the other Nurses, Doctors and Staff at Advent Health.
