I am a 58-year-old disabled woman with a very long list of serious health conditions. I delivered my third child at Kaweah Delta in 1999. Since then my entire family immediate and extended, have used Kaweah Delta more times than I could possible count, the ER and every floor of the facility.

In all these times, I cannot say that I have experienced such an extraordinarily talented, hard-working, caring, compassionate, efficient, excellent nurse in any department as Stacy. I have noticed things among healthcare staff, and I could go on forever about my complaints.

But this one nurse, when she could not respond quickly enough, had someone go tell her patient she was with another patient and would be right there; then she would actually be right there. If she asked someone to get a patient something and they were taking to long, she just went and got it herself, never once did she complain, reprimand, comment, loose her positive, polite, professional and compassionate demeanor.

Her phone never stopped going off. She never had a second where someone wasn't asking something from her. She was steadfast. She was calming. She took the time to answer questions. She didn't hesitate to get your answers, call the doctor, call the lab, call pharmacy. Yet still had time for every patient. Every time, without assistance. She got everything done, every time.

I was flabbergasted at her performance not just as a nurse, but as a human being. Never have I seen such a tolerant and altruistic human, nurse, or professional in my life.

This amazing woman needs to be recognized. Deserves accolades. You should use her a model for all employees from CEO to your janitors. She was that impressive.

Thank you, Stacy.

Thank you, Stacy, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
