Stacy took every opportunity to ease that immediate post-op need and was attentive to everything present at that time.
I was very anxious about undergoing the eye procedures yesterday, and the entire MDA care team was amazing at elevating most of that anxiety. The surgery seemingly went well, but the extraordinary care provided by Stacy post-op was notable. Stacy took every opportunity to ease that immediate post-op need and was attentive to everything present at that time...even providing a ham/cheese sandwich at 1830 after realizing I hadn't eaten since being NPO the night before. Stacy also went to great lengths to comfort my wife/caregiver at that time. Post-op care continues, but I strongly feel that the immediate time following those procedures were critical in my overall journey and discharge. I don't normally take the time to recognize individual care team members because I feel as if it diminishes the recognition for all of the members involved. Stacy is an exceptional case and deserves that individual recognition from myself and her current team members as well. I'd like to thank the entire care team involved in yesterday's surgery, and especially Stacy, for providing the highest level of comfort available at the time.
