Mr. N was admitted to 4T during his admission and he passed away in the early morning hours at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights Campus. His daughter reached out to the patient relations department to share her experience, her appreciation, and her glowing compliments for all of the 4T staff. She had the following things to say:
“Thank you, thank you, thank you, for all the patience and the loving way my dad was treated. I can’t tell you how much I thank you for the sweet nurses and all those that worked on the 4th floor taking care of my dad. How wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, the nurses, the aides and everyone who came into the room was to both me and my father. How special they all were and how well they took care of him.”
She specifically recognized associates Priscilla and Crystal. She explained that “they made my dad comfortable and clean before he passed. They changed his sheets and cleaned him up and made him look very nice.”
She was especially complimentary about the nurse, Daniel Swiontek. She said, “My dad and I fell in love with Dennis. He is one of the nicest young men I have come into contact with in years. He is the one who called me the night my dad passed.”
“They (4T staff) let me come in and visit when I could. They took such good care of me. They were all so sweet to me. You have something to be proud of.”

They are all loving and caring. They truly care about their patients. When I was afraid, they were there for me.
